Kristina has a commitment to utilizing culturally affirming and client centered treatment approaches. She strives to foster a safe space to openly discuss life stressors and support her clients in developing healthier and more satisfying relationships with others and most importantly with oneself. Kristina values the benefits of a collaborative process, particularly in setting attainable goals and working at pace fitting to each individual client.
Kristina received her graduate level education from Loyola University Maryland. Her clinical experiences have included working with clients whose life stressors have manifested in many ways, including anxiety, depression, guilt, anger, grief, low self-esteem, and relational difficulties. Kristina has experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, intensive outpatient programs, inpatient hospitals, nursing care facilities, and short term physical rehabilitation programs.
As this has been an unprecedented year of strife, uncertainty and loss, it has been easy for self-care to be lost in the chaos. Your mental wellness is important, and Kristina hopes to help you achieve your mental and emotional goals.
