Frequently asked questions
Is online therapy as effective as meeting in an office?
Yes. Clinical studies consistently demonstrate that virtual CBT and anxiety therapy produce outcomes equivalent to in-person sessions. Virtual care also lets you learn and practice coping skills directly within your daily living environment.
What happens during the free 15-minute consultation call?
This call is a straightforward conversation to learn about what you are dealing with, answer your questions, and verify that our clinicians have the expertise to help. There is no pressure to book a session on the spot.
How long does treatment typically take?
Treatment duration depends on your individual goals and the severity of your symptoms. Many clients experience tangible symptom relief and stronger coping skills within 8 to 12 weekly sessions.
Can I use my health insurance?
Yes. We accept select insurance plans in-network, including Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Cigna. If you have an insurance plan we’re not in-network with, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement through Reimbursify. We’ll review your payment options during intake so you understand your expected costs upfront.
What technology do I need for virtual sessions?
You only need a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and microphone. Our video platform runs directly through a secure web browser without complex downloads.
